RoundUs

Terms of Service

RoundUs — operated by Round Us LLC Effective October 22, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Round Us LLC ("RoundUs", "we") when you use the RoundUs app. By using RoundUs you agree to them.

We have written them to be read. If a clause seems one-sided, it is probably because it has to be, and we have tried to say why.

1. What RoundUs is

RoundUs is a map and a messenger. It shows people where mobile businesses are working right now, and it carries orders between a customer and a business.

RoundUs is not a party to anything you buy or sell. We do not prepare the food, perform the service, set the price, or handle the money. The agreement to buy is between the customer and the business. We are the introduction and the record.

2. Who can use it

Customers must be at least 13.

Business accounts are for people 18 and over. A business account shares your live location with people nearby whenever you are marked Available or Busy, and it commits you to agreements with customers who are relying on you to turn up. Those are not things we will ask a minor to take on.

If you use a business account, you also confirm you are authorised to act for that business.

One account per person. Do not share your sign-in.

3. For businesses

You decide when you are visible. Your location is shared only while you are marked Available or Busy, and stops the moment you go Offline.

Your listing must be true. Your name, category, hours and prices should describe what you actually do. Nothing stops you changing them whenever you like.

Answer your orders. A customer who orders is waiting on you. You can confirm or decline — declining is an answer, and it is better than silence. Orders you never answer expire on their own, which helps nobody.

Your records are yours. Sales, orders, route stops, reliability counts. You can export all of it at any time, free, and we will never put that behind a paywall.

4. For customers

Cancelling is free. If you cancel, we keep a note on your account for 90 days and it clears by itself. One or two make no difference to anything.

What costs a business is not showing up. If you cancel, cancel — it frees them to take another order.

If a business is late, it is not held against you. A cancellation more than 15 minutes past the time a business promised is not recorded against you, no matter what reason you choose. The clock decides that, not the reason.

You may hold up to 3 open orders at once, and up to 2 with the same business.

5. Money

Today, RoundUs is free. There is no charge to any customer and no charge to any business.

When paid plans launch, these are the terms that will apply:

We will tell you in the app before any of this takes effect, and no existing account will be charged for anything it did before it agreed to pay.

6. What you may not do

We can suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is our call rather than something obvious, a person will look at it before anything happens to the account.

The prohibited list

These cannot be sold through RoundUs by anyone, with any permit, in any place:

This list names things. It does not say "illegal." That word sounds firmer and is in fact weaker — it hands the definition to whoever is asking, and it means different things in Mexico, in the United States, in a state and under a city ordinance. A named list can be read, argued with, and applied the same way to everyone.

Read what is not on it. Selling without a permit is not on this list. Nor is trading without a food handler's card, nor anything about your immigration status. RoundUs does not help enforce permits, licensing status, or immigration status, and never reports them. That is not an oversight in this list; it is the point of writing the list this way.

Why alcohol and tobacco are on it, when a licensed seller could lawfully sell either: customers on RoundUs can be as young as 13, and we have no way to check an age at the moment somebody taps order. An app that cannot tell a 14-year-old from a 40-year-old has no business carrying those products. If that ever changes, this clause changes with it, and we will say so rather than letting it quietly lapse.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into RoundUs — your listing, your photos, your catalog.

You give us permission to display it inside RoundUs so the app can work. That permission exists for that purpose and ends when you delete the content or the account.

8. Ending it

You can leave at any time. Menu → Profile → Delete my account. Export your data first; the button is right above it.

We may suspend an account for a breach of these terms. If we close an account for any other reason, you will be able to export your data first.

9. Disclaimers

RoundUs is provided as is. We do not promise the app will be available without interruption, that a business will be where the map says, that an order will be fulfilled, or that a notification will arrive.

We are not responsible for what a business sells or how a customer behaves. We did not make the food, perform the work, or handle the payment. Disputes about an order are between the two of you — though our records are available to both of you to help sort it out.

A GPS position is an estimate. A promised time is an estimate. Treat them that way.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Round Us LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of RoundUs.

Our total liability for any claim relating to RoundUs will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is true, they do not apply to you.

11. Changes

If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use RoundUs after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
